SHAH HUSSAIN

Shah Hussain is a dynamic and versatile actor Born in Birmingham. He is multilingual and is fluent in Urdu, Punjabi and Hindi. He is also trained in stage combat and has stunts experience.

Shah trained under the tutelage of Mark Pegg of The Acting Academy and is also an alumni of The Actors Studio under Tim Kent. Shah has worked on projects such as Netflix’s Red Notice, The Crown (S5), Sky/AMC’s Gangs Of London (S2) and Apple TV+’ Slow Horses (S3). Shah has an excellent on-screen presence having played a multitude of characters in different casting types. He has an aura of brilliance around him and transitions his skills and experience to the screen like a natural.

Since 2004, Shah has been practicing Martial Arts namely Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu where he is of Black belt rank and a two time British Champion. He went on to train in Mixed Martial Arts and compete as a Professional fighter in MMA having won a Championship Title on the domestic scene and compete internationally. Having had 26 Pro bouts to his resume, Shah retired from Professional competition in December 2018.

Now based in Slough, Berkshire, Shah is married to Saima Shaheen and he is a doting father to their three children Zayn, Aila and Mairah.
