James is a recent graduate of the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama’s classical acting MA programme where they performed in a variety of roles from the comedic Shakespearean Trinculo in The Tempest to the darkly surreal Moon in Lorca’s Blood Wedding. James uses performance and writing as a way to explore themes of identity and gender informed by their own experience as a non-binary performer.
As a stand-up comedian, James is making waves in the comedy circuit performing in clubs in London, Manchester, Bristol and beyond with a trademark style of surreal rants, bursts of rage and impressions you never knew you needed to hear. James holds the title of the best depressed non-binary Jewish comedian currently operating anywhere in the greater Stoke Newington area. They are also the co-host of the comedy gameshow podcast Is This Enough.
