HEATHER BROWN

HEATHER BROWN IS A COMEDY WRITER

She’s spent a third of her life working in factual TV development and was the Story Producer on the reality series Dance Mums. Heather was a Women in Film & TV mentee in 2021 (mentor was Salisbury Poisonings writer Declan Lawn) and was in the Writers Room for the BBC drama series Blue Lights.

Her comedy drama The Squad has been optioned and she has comedy scripts Gingerbeer, De-bra and Daters in development.

Heather had high hopes of becoming an Olympic gymnast but was reprimanded by her coach for ordering a knickerbocker glory to her hotel room the night before nationals.

She escaped London life to live on a farm in Northern Ireland where she now lives with her partner, 2 kids, 3 cats, 3 chickens and 4 goats.

“Her writing has a bit of that early years Sally Wainwright vibe to it with a touch of Vic Wood… great voice in the writing.” – Gregor Sharp (BBC Comedy Commissioner)
