EMMA JOY EDWARDS

Emma is a character comedian, excellent improviser, writer and director

Emma writes and performs with her comedy partner as A&E Comedy. Their first show Enter the Dragons won Broadway Baby Bobby Best Show Brighton Fringe 2018. Their follow up show Witch Hunt was nominated for a second Broadway Baby Bobby and the Infallibles Award for theatrical excellence. They have written a number of scripts for film and television, winning The Sitcom Mission and being shortlisted for The Screenshot Competition.

As associate director of Get Lost and Found, Emma creates interactive immersive experiences including Mischief and Mystery in Moominvalley commissioned by Moomin Characters for The Southbank Imagine Festival. Emma has written and directed numerous shows for children and young audiences.

Emma trained in clown at Ecole Philippe Gaulier, and has a Masters with Distinction in Comedy Writing from Falmouth University. Specialising in script writing, clown and comedy, she teaches at universities, drama schools and theatres including Monash University and The National Theatre.
