EMILY HUXTER

Emily is an actor, musician and Musical Director

Emily trained on the Actor Musician BA at the Guildford School of Acting. She also trained at Emil Dale Academy and Kingsclere Performing Arts College in dance and musical theatre. She plays piano, guitar, melodica, recorder, ukulele and percussion.

After graduating from GSA, she performed in the West End concert performance of The Witches of Eastwick, before playing piano in the band for Ed: The Sketch Show Musical (a comedy musical about Ed Sheeran’s life) at the Canal Café Theatre. She then returned to her hometown of Cambridge and Musical Directed a Cambridge University production of Spring Awakening. Since then, she has performed in award winning musical On Your Bike (Best Musical at the Edinburgh Fringe 2021) and its critically acclaimed sister show, Jingle Street at the 2023 Edinburgh Fringe. In November she reprised her role in On Your Bike for its Warsaw run. In addition, she is currently Musical Directing a youth production of Les Miserables. She is performing a solo children’s show as Holly The Christmas Fairy at Audley End Miniature Railway in December 2023.

Emily will be performing the role of Grete & Multirole in The Metamorphosis with Mild Peril Theatre, touring England and Wales from February to June 2024.
