He has performed in various theatre productions, flown in the air at the London 2012 Paralympic Games’ Opening Ceremony, sung badly (on-purpose) in a television commercial and won wrestling championship belts in the US and UK. He is also co-host of the Life DownLow’ed podcast in which he and Samantha Renke discuss all things life and disability
Dan is also an award-winning disability and access consultant, working across the arts, broadcast, entertainment, media and business industries with clients including #WeThe15, Sesame Street, Twitter, Sony, Netflix, the BFI and BAFTA. His involvement in the trade union movement as part of Equity sees him sit on multiple committees as well as being a Council member. He is also a member for the BFI Disability Screen Advisory group. Dan campaigns for better access, inclusion and representation of deaf, disabled and/or neurodivergent people in all aspects of life but particularly within the arts and media industries.
