Cerys Bradley is a comedian, writer and researcher.

Cerys started performing comedy at secondary school and has since performed at the Edinburgh Fringe, Brighton Fringe and the Green Man Festival. They are a member of the Soho Theatre Young Company and reached the semi-final stage of the renowned Amused Moose new comedian competition in 2020. In 2019, they filmed a comedy set for BBC Sesh which has had 2.3 million views on Facebook. Their credits include Stand Up Sesh (BBC One Wales) and The Coming Out Tapes podcast, an audio archive of LGBTQ+ coming out stories, which they produce and present. They also produced the Bricks and Mortals and Living with Eugenics podcasts for UCL. Both podcast series examine the history of eugenics at UCL and the current impact of its legacy.

Having graduated with a Maths degree from King’s College London, Cerys completed a PHD in Cybercrime with a thesis about the Dark Web. Outside of their academic work, they have a passion for LGBTQ+ history. They are a Stonewall School Role Model and give talks on LGBTQ+ history and culture in schools.
