Angela Wakefield is an Actor and Voiceover Artist

Angela gained a Diploma in Drama from RADA and was invited to perform in a Rehearsed Reading of Ahasverus at The RADA Studios.

For three years she supported a Theatre Group in multiple back-stage roles at The Edinburgh Festival Fringe including sketch-writing.

Angela later became Co-Director of Stitches Comedy Club in Southampton. Stitches took a Comedy Show to The Edinburgh Festival Fringe for two years. Angela was a Presenter and Performer in the shows which earned four stars from two publications. Street Theatre and Improv Skills were developed during this time. Her Presenter character featured in the online gallery of The Guardian.

Since then, Angela has performed in two runs of The Ladykillers at The West End’s Gielgud Theatre and Vaudeville Theatre. A Comedy Pilot, Fatty Boom Boom and Murder Casebook were early TV roles. She also has experience as a Featured Artist in Commercials including Asda, Aldi, NHS, The Sun and Walkers Crisps. 

Angela likes to walk and swim regularly. She has a passion for singing and has sung in large choirs for many years and featured as a soloist.
