ABIGAIL DOOLEY

Abigail studied at East 15 drama school, Ecole Philippe Gaulier and ArtHaus Berlin. She also trained with Theatre de Complicite, Monika Pagneux, John Wright, Keith Johnstone and Jos Houben

As a performer/deviser she has created work with many companies including Compagnie Philippe Gaulier (End of the Tunnel), Trestle Theatre Company (Crime of Love, Running Dogs and The Soldier’s Tale), Told by an Idiot (La Mort du Client), Keith Johnstone (Micetro), The Gate Theatre (The Lovers) and Royal & Derngate’s stage adaption of Jacques Tati’s Playtime!, in which she played 30 characters.

She directed the magic show Norvil and Josephine and The Magic of Christmas at the NEC, a live Christmas Event with five performance areas including street theatre, UV puppet show and a promenade pantomime.

Specializing in devised theatre, she teaches at drama schools, universities and theatres, including The National Theatre, Rose Bruford, Mountview, ArtHaus Berlin and Middlesex University.
