Welsh, working-class firebrands The Death Hilarious are a sketch-centric comedy duo cut from the same rag as The League Of Gentlemen and The Mighty Boosh.

They parade a coterie of crazed characters such as Creole exorcists, apelike weirdos and a homemade sex robot. Variously described as immersive, horrifying and joyous, The Death Hilarious mix satire and the utterly puerile with no thought for their own safety.

They performed at the Machynlleth Comedy Festival in 2016, and gig regularly in and around Wales and the South West. They also scrambled into the finals of the Welsh Unsigned Stand-up Award 2015 and the BBC New Comedy Award’s Cardiff heat in 2016.

They are currently working towards their debut hour for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2017.  They will perform at several UK festivals in 2017, including Leicester Comedy Festival and the Glasgow International Comedy Festival.  They were a Featured Act at London SketchFest 2016 & won the Sketch Screen Award for their short Anne & Joel.

They never sleep, these boys. They are dancing, dancing. They say that they will never die.

Immersive and brilliant comedy…amongst the funniest double acts I’ve ever seen.” – The Bristol Post

“Exciting…a rare and unique voice. A Death Hilarious sketch is where hell shares a partition wall with your woodchip-lined living room…where Coronation Street meets The Exorcist…and it is entirely fresh and magical”
– Stand Up For Comedy
