Will Seaward takes a leading role in Sh*t-Faced Shakespeare’s ‘The Merchant of Venice’

Will Seaward in The Merchant of Venice

TGA Client Will Seaward joins Sh*t-faced Shakespeare production of ‘The Merchant of Venice’ this April in Leicester Square Theatre.

Having previously produced performances of The Bards work in bouncey castles, Will Seaward has joined the latest production of ‘The Merchant of Venice’ by the team at Sh*t-Faced Shakespeare. Continuing his connections with unusual approaches to the famous works. He will be playing the part of antagonist, Shylock, and acting as Master of Ceremoney’s.

On learning that he was to be offered the part of Shylock Will said “Amazing!! I’ve literally always wanted to play Shylock“.

The smash-hit, internationally acclaimed, award-winning, multi sell-out fringe phenomenon is back in London with TWO new shows for 2018: The Merchant of Venice and Romeo and Juliet.

Shit-faced Shakespeare is the hilarious combination of an entirely serious adaptation of a Shakespearean classic, with an entirely shit-faced cast member.

With one cast member selected at random and given four hours to drink before every show we present to you classical theatre as it was always meant to be seen. With a gin in one hand, a cup of wine in the other and a flagon of ale in the other… What could possibly go wrong?

Performances run at Leicester Square Theatre from April 18th to June 2nd at 7pm. Click here for tickets.
